About Us

A Trusted Behavioral Health Organization Expanding Its Commitment to Mental Health Care

For years, our organization has been recognized in Maine for delivering high-quality, ethical, and structured substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. That foundation of clinical expertise, operational excellence, and community trust is what allowed us to expand our mission thoughtfully and responsibly into mental health care.

Our mental health division was developed to meet a growing need in the community for dedicated, primary mental health treatment backed by the systems, experience, and leadership of an established behavioral health provider. While the mental health division operates with its own clinical team, its own building, and its own program identity, it benefits from the same organizational strength that has guided our SUD program’s longstanding success.

Our History

A Track Record of Structured, Client-Centered Behavioral Healthcare

Our organization began with a focus on substance use disorder treatment, building a strong reputation based on:

  • clinically driven programming
  • commitment to ethical, responsible care
  • transparent operations
  • experienced leadership
  • outcomes-focused models

Over the years, our team has grown, our programs have expanded, and our infrastructure has strengthened. The trust we’ve earned in the community—and the clinical rigor behind our work—naturally created the pathway for expanding into mental health services.

We recognized that individuals across Maine needed more options for dedicated mental health treatment, delivered with the same clarity, structure, and professionalism we have always brought to SUD care.

This is not a pivot. It is an expansion built on years of stability.

Our Mental Health Division

A Separate Clinical Program Designed for Primary Mental Health Care

Our mental health division was intentionally built as its own program, with:

  • a separate clinical team
  • a separate treatment building
  • a separate treatment model
  • its own program schedule
  • its own daily operations
  • its own leadership and oversight

This ensures that individuals seeking mental health support receive care designed specifically for their needs—not a blended or add-on approach.

Clients entering our mental health programs are not funneled through SUD services. They experience a fully distinct, specialized treatment environment aligned with mental health best practices, not addiction-focused models.

Our Clinical Philosophy

Clear. Structured. Evidence-Based.

Our team is committed to providing treatment that helps people regain stability, develop insight, and build long-term resilience.

Our approach is grounded in:

  • evidence-based therapies
  • individualized treatment plans
  • trauma-informed care
  • measurable goals
  • clinical consistency
  • skill-building that supports daily functioning

The mental health division uses interventions specific to primary mental health conditions, not adapted from SUD models. Clinical pathways are developed to support:

  • anxiety disorders
  • depression and mood disorders
  • trauma and PTSD
  • bipolar disorder
  • emotional dysregulation
  • stress-related symptoms

The Team Behind the Work

Dedicated Mental Health Specialists Supported by Experienced Leadership

Our mental health division is staffed by clinicians whose training, experience, and daily work focus entirely on mental health treatment. Their expertise includes:

  • individual psychotherapy
  • group therapy
  • trauma-informed techniques
  • evidence-based interventions
  • crisis stabilization
  • treatment planning

Behind the scenes, our leadership and administrative infrastructure—refined over years of operating a successful SUD program—provide:

  • strong compliance systems
  • clinical governance
  • quality assurance
  • operational oversight
  • staff training and supervision
  • coordinated admissions processes

This creates a rare combination: a fully independent mental health program supported by an organization with proven depth and stability.

Our Mission

Expanding Access to High-Quality Mental Health Care in Maine

Our mission is to make structured, evidence-based mental health treatment more accessible for individuals who need support navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, or emotional overwhelm.

We believe in:

  • treating each person with clinical integrity
  • offering clear, structured pathways to healing
  • building programs that support sustainable progress
  • creating treatment environments that reflect respect and safety
  • contributing to a healthier, more mentally resilient Maine

Looking Forward

A Continued Commitment to the People We Serve

As our organization grows, our long-standing promise remains the same: to provide ethical, high-quality behavioral healthcare rooted in professionalism, compassion, and clarity.

The mental health division reflects this commitment—standing as both a continuation of who we are and an expansion of the services Maine residents deserve.
